We publish the books, plays and sketches written by Jeremy Carrad who took up writing as a career in his sixties having already had a full and adventurous life as an army officer, BBC Television and radio broadcaster and businessman.

As an enthusiastic member of his local amateur dramatic society he found that there were few modern plays available to suit a fairly large, 'less-than-young' cast, and that humour tended to be either dated or of the 'schoolboy' variety. That led him into a new career as an author and publisher.

Five plays, one set in 1940 and the others in the present time,and three short sketches are available for hire. All of them, less the latest (2005) play, 'Pots of Money', have been successfully staged and have received a very enthusiastic response.

Two of these plays have been turned into novels. 'The End of the Pier Show' has already won critical acclaim and the second, 'Running on Empty' will be published in early-mid 2005. They are available for purchase on this website.
